The “Association for the promotion of free geomatics and the development of gvSIG”, gvSIG Association, aims at the sustainability of the gvSIG project and the development of Free Geomatics. Based on the democratic and solidary values of the Free Software and solidarity values of Free Software, we propose the development of a new business model based on based on Cooperation and Shared Knowledge where part of the profit generated will go back to the generated will revert to the strengthening of the gvSIG Project.
The Cluster TIC Galicia is a non-profit association that was established on January 31, 2008 to bring together companies, business associations, schools, professional associations and other agents of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) macro-sector in the Autonomous Community of Galicia.
Since its incorporation in November 2015, Avansig belongs to the board of trustees of the Fundación Centro de Investigación en Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicaciones de Galicia, a Galician Communications Technology Research Center of Galicia, Singular Research Center of Galicia, with which it maintains a close collaboration.
Avansig’s Corporate Responsibility policy aims to develop a sustainable activity in the long term for its customers, employees, suppliers, the environment and society in general.
Being aware of Avansig’s role in the construction of collective values, we develop practices and strategies that contribute to reconcile professional activity with social, environmental and equality values among people.

Avansig’s Gender Equality Plan is integrated as one of the basic rules for the operation of the company and the regulation of its employees in terms of equality. By using the Xunta de Galicia’s tool for self-evaluation of labor equality in Galician companies, a complete report was prepared, which set the precedents for the preparation of the current Equality Plan.
Equal treatment and opportunities between women and men is, therefore, a priority in the company’s Strategic Plan, being considered as a fundamental principle of labor relations and human resources management in the Company.
The commitment of the Management and the involvement of the staff in matters of equality is an obligation that aims to make this Equality Plan an effective instrument for improving the working environment, optimizing the capabilities and potential of the entire staff and potentialities of all the staff and, with this, to improve the quality of life and increase the productivity of the company, and not to be limited to being a mere document.
